Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has officially launched the Honda ADV160 in India at Rs 1.70 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru). The adventure-inspired maxi-scooter enters a growing premium scooter segment currently occupied by models such as the Yamaha Aerox 155 and Hero Xoom 160. Bookings are open for Rs 5,000 through Honda dealerships and the company’s website, while deliveries are expected to commence from mid-October 2026.
One of the biggest highlights is that the ADV160 is India’s first flex-fuel scooter, capable of running on ethanol blends of up to E85. It is also being manufactured locally in India.
Honda ADV160 Price and Variants
The Honda ADV160 is available in a single flex-fuel variant, priced at Rs 1,70,000 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru). Unlike some of Honda’s premium motorcycles, the ADV160 will have relatively wide availability as it will be sold through both Honda RedWing and BigWing dealerships.
The ADV160 is more expensive than its main competitors, with the Hero Xoom 160 priced at around Rs 1.43 lakh and the Yamaha Aerox 155 at around Rs 1.45 lakh. However, Honda counters with more equipment, larger storage capacity and flex-fuel compatibility.
156.93cc Liquid-Cooled Engine
Powering the Honda ADV160 is a 156.93cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine paired with an automatic CVT transmission. Honda has not yet disclosed official India-specific power and torque figures. The international-spec version produces approximately 16.3hp and 14.9Nm.
More importantly, the engine supports fuel blends ranging up to E85, making the ADV160 India’s first flex-fuel-compatible production scooter.

Honda ADV160 Features
Honda has loaded the ADV160 with several premium features. It gets a 5-inch colour TFT instrument console with Honda RoadSync connectivity, allowing riders to access smartphone-connected functions.
Other notable features include Honda Selectable Torque Control (traction control), USB charging, dual disc brakes and single-channel ABS. The scooter also provides an impressive 27 litres of under-seat storage, giving it an advantage over its primary rivals in terms of carrying capacity.
The ADV-inspired styling is complemented by features such as an adjustable windscreen and rugged bodywork, helping distinguish it from conventional scooters.

The ADV160 rides on a 14-inch front and 13-inch rear wheel setup and uses telescopic front suspension with twin rear shock absorbers. It weighs 133kg and has a manageable 780mm seat height, while ground clearance stands at 165mm. Fuel tank capacity is 8.1 litres.
